Background
Brighter Horizons Residential Services, Inc. was founded in 1994 by concerned, professional individuals who desire to better serve the MR/DD Community by combining their 30 years of experience and knowledge and transforming it into a caring company dedicated to the individuals they serve.
BHRS, Inc. is an active agency currently serving over 40 consumers in Lake, Ashtabula, & Geauga counties in Northeastern Ohio. Adhering to the motto "All Things Are Possible", we serve all ages and disabilities. Our consumers receive the maximum amount of care that they are entitled to, from two to 24 hours a day.
Our administration, managers and direct care providers strive to keep a "personal touch" with our consumers with the idea that we are all part of the BHRS, Inc "family". Every consumer is visited by the Director regularly to ensure that they are happy and being treated with dignity and respect. BHRS, Inc meets or exceeds all local, state and federal guidelines for the care that we provide and we do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, citizenship, age or disability.

We highly encourage our consumers to participate in activities as well as day to day tasks. We play to the strengths of our consumers and focus on their interests and good attributes, but also work with them on building different skills and trying new and unfamiliar things to expaind their horizons and get the most out of not only our company but life itself.
